I felt that I had to let you know that in the short time that my son has been a part of the Hitters 12u team I have been so pleased. The coaches have to be The Best Coaches that I have seen working with kids in the seven years that Christian has played in little league. The time that is taken out to teach every player and to include every player has truly been a blessing for my son to not only see but to actually experience. I have seen players yelled, cursed, called out of their name, having the love of the game robbed from them for making mistakes in this game. Not these coaches, they do not let one player leave the field with their head hung , when adjustments are needed they pull the kid to the side and tell them what they see needs to be tweaked next time and encourage them for the next round. I have had coaches yelling and screaming and losing their mind at some calls umps have made and while we have had some bad calls here and there as all teams do our coaches are examples to these young men how things may not always go the way you think it should but you always carry yourself in a respectable manner. And this group of kids seem to be good kids and you can tell that they have also been trained in what a real team is. Christian is having a bit of a hitting slump but every time he gets up to bat the team cheers him on with a genuine hope of him hitting and not just for him but for all of their team mates. I could go on and on, not about how impressed I am but rather how moved I am by an organization who not only develop skills needed for the game but are developing skills that these young men will need in life. My son is very happy and I just wanted you to know you have a great group of coaches, I don't even know all their names ( P3, P4 and one who likes Carolina.....lol but they are all great).
